Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery

So after 7 years of talking about it, and… shall we say, research… We have finally opened our very own Restaurant and Brewery! Located on the Connecticut River in downtown Brattleboro.

On a warm day you can sit outside on our incredible roof top deck, or as we like to call it, our Bier Garten. In the winter months, cozy up next to the large stone fireplace. We offer a unique menu that focuses on fresh and local products. The environment is casual comfortable and the menu is unique and creative.

Of course, for Tim a big part of this was about the beer, by all means brewery is in the title. Currently we have 17 draft lines changing all the time. As a matter of fact, we’ve had over 135 different beers on draft since July 4th! We also have a bottle selection carefully chosen for its unique qualities.

Of course, now you are asking yourself about the beer we brew here, I mean, come on… you can’t call yourself a brewery unless you brew beer right. Well no worries. We are currently finishing up the building of our very own 3.5BBL brewery as well! We have about 30 days of renovations to complete, and are patiently waiting for our 94 page federal application to be approved. But once all of that happens, fingers crossed, in January(ish) we should be on our way! Wish us luck and of course, stop in and say hello.

The brewery came from San Diego, Aztec Brewery was expanding and sold us their little Psycho Brew system. We scored 3 jacketed conical fermenters too and have been collecting the missing pieces to get this thing up and running. You can follow some of the progress on our Facebook page at Facebook.com/WhetstoneStation.

The Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery is located at 36 Bridge Street on the water in downtown Brattleboro Vermont.

Open 7 days from 11:30am – 11pm and serving lunch, dinner and drinks year round.

Cheers!
