StoutErik

stouterik

I am not sure who Erik is, or if he was in fact a short fat man  – but what I am certain of is that he is bitter and a bit dry.

As a matter of fact, Erik here was a bit drier than I would like.   A little bit smoky and some flavor of burnt brown sugar in there.  I would even go so far as to say a bit sour.  An interesting Belgian spin on an Irish style.  That’s because Stouterik is brewed by the folks at Brasserie De La Senne / De Zenne Brouwerij in Belgium.  Yes, I cut and pasted the brewery name from a real beer site because I didn’t even feel like trying to figure out what it says.

I will give the Stouterik props for being reasonable in ABV, making this drinkable on a rainy Sunday afternoon – but as for the important question of  would I have another?  Maybe  if you were buying…

  1. Hello! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when viewing from my iphone 4. I’m trying to
find a theme or plugin that might be able to resolve
this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share.

    Many thanks!
